Christian Women Alliance, in partnership with HP Music & Arts, recently hosted its annual High Tea in which it honored eight distinguished women for their work in local communities in the areas of excellence in business, community advocacy, front line work, education and servant leadership. The event was held on Saturday, Sept. 10, with honorees being surrounded by family, friends and the distinguished women of CWA who came to encourage and support them. Under the leadership of Laequinla Hunter, the mission of CWA is to undergird, build and support in the areas of ministry, business partnership and community service. “We use this time to show that we not only build up those in our organization, but we also build up women who are making a major impact in our community and abroad,” she said.
