Willie and Margaret Etheridge are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney B. Etheridge, to Kendal B. Lassiter, son of Brent Lassiter and Shari Lassiter.

Courtney’s grandparents include the late William A. and Geraldine Etheridge and the late James R. and Ann Hunt. 

Kendal’s grandparents include Mrs. H.F. (Shirley) Vick and the late Mr. H.F. Vick and Bobby Lassiter and the late Frances Lassiter.

Courtney, who resides in Courtland, is a 2014 graduate of Southampton High School. She graduated from Paul D. Camp Community College in 2016 with an associate of applied science degree in nursing, and she graduated from Chamberlain University in 2019 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse.

Kendal, who resides in Courtland, is a 2010 graduate of Southampton High School. He is employed as a pipe welder at Newport News Shipbuilding.

Kendal and Courtney will be married April 22, 2023 at the home of Courtney’s parents.
