The kickoff for the Summer Reading Program featured John Barnes, of JB’s Rattles, at the Courtland branch of the Blackwater Regional Library.
A library news release noted that attendees learned about recognition, safety, snake venom for cancer research and spider venom for diabetes and Alzheimer’s research.
