FRANKLIN – Chester Staten Jr., preceded in death by his father, Chester Staten Sr., mother Emma (Staten) Person and son, Chester Uzzle, passed away on June 23, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Tenisha Harrison, James Uzzle, Antonio Trotter, Lowell Staten; three sisters, Aretha Staten, Cassandra Staten, Betsy Staten; four brothers, McKinley Freeman, Lorenzo Staten, Larry Staten, Michael Staten Jr.; four grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Rosewood Avenue in Franklin. Vaughan-Temple Funeral is handling the arrangements.
