‘Day of thrills’ at Capron Elementary

Capron Elementary School celebrated the winding down of the 2021-22 school year by having a magnificent field day.
A school news release continued by noting that the children had a blast as they played games such as tug of war, sack race, sponge relay, parachute, egg race, hula-hoop luau and bubbles.
After a grab-and-go picnic lunch, the children were given the opportunity to visit an ice cream truck.
Then the Drewryville Volunteer Fire Department brought its firetruck and sprayed water to cool everyone off on such a hot day.
“We ended this day of thrills with a dance party,” school officials said. “What a wonderful way to end our school year and welcome our summertime fun.”
