The Franklin-Southampton (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. proudly announced Ameer Shearin, of Southampton High School, as the recipient of the chapter’s annual Academic King-Perry Scholarship on June 9. To be eligible for the scholarship, the graduating senior must attend Franklin High School or Southampton High School, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and have a completed application packet. We commend Ameer for his hard work that put him in position to receive this scholarship.
