SUFFOLK – Kenneth Daniel “Pop” Williamson, 83, passed away on June 21, 2022 in Sentara Obici Hospital with family by his side. Born in Lynchburg on Dec. 21, 1938, he was a son of Clyde Finley Williamson and Margaret Justice Williamson.

Pop was a U.S. Marine and a meat cutter for 17 years and drove a tractor trailer for 15 years. He loved his family and a good cup of Joe, Krispy Kreme donuts, golf, fishing and putt-putt in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 years, Virginia Ann Gattis Williamson; three daughters, Charlotte Gibson, Debbie White and Tammy Luck; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 24 in Wright Funeral Home in Franklin with the Rev. Raymond White officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tunnel for Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY, 10306.
