FRANKLIN – On May 5, 2022, Priscilla Jones, 90, our dedicated and beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home, covered in love, hugs, kisses and words of appreciation for the great love and pride she gave unconditionally to her large family. She loved and appreciated all of God’s creations, especially flowers, birds and butterflies. She loved capturing their beauty in her wonderful watercolor paintings. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Thomas H. Jones Jr; daughters, Elaine Herring and Joann Byrum; and siblings, Joseph Norman Riddick, Alonzo M. Riddick Jr., Dan Richard Riddick, Thelma Riddick Rountree, Mollie Riddick Hadwin, Janice Riddick Fogarty and Betty Riddick Baines.

Left to cherish her love and memory is her daughter, Linda Warren and husband Glenn; son, Danny Byrum; son-in-law, Ronnie Herring; sister, Hannah Riddick; grandchildren, Joanna Brown (Seth), Michael Herring (Tiffanie), Adam Warren, Blake Byrum and Kristen Byrum; great-granddaughters, Caitlin Brown and Madison Brown; special friend in love, Flo Turner; and many, many nieces and nephews.

Priscilla was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Smithfield, the Blackwater Art League, and founding member of the CHKD North Suffolk Circle. She was a former member of Junto Women’s Club, Driver Book Club and Brush and Pallet Club. Priscilla volunteered at CHKD and was passionate about the care of all children. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to CHKD.
