Capron Elementary School kindergarten students in Katie Holland’s class recently learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Baptist minister and activist who made many contributions to the American civil rights movement.

They learned about King’s most famous “I Have a Dream” speech and discussed his dream for all people. Students then participated in a class discussion about their dreams. Finally, the students illustrated their dreams and shared the pictures with their classmates.
