FRANKLIN – David Bruce Carr, 74, passed away Jan. 5, 2022 in Henrico Doctor’s Parham Hospital in Richmond. Born in Southampton County, he was a son of the late Luther and Mary Bradshaw Carr. He was also predeceased by s sister, Virgie Tharrington and three brothers, George L. Carr and William Curtis Carr.

Bruce was a farmer and loved to fish.

Left to cherish his memory is two sons, Timothy and Jamie Carr; a sister, Lucille C. Cutchins; two brothers, John R. Carr and Ronald Wayne Carr and three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 10 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
