FRANKLIN – Linda White Pierce, 73, of 108 Rawlsdale Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 in The East Pavilion of Franklin.

Mrs. Pierce was born in Suffolk, on July 19, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Willard R. and Emma Lee Eure White. The former office manager with Internal Medicine of Franklin, she later worked in that same position for Dr. Cynthia Ripsin. A member of Franklin Presbyterian Church, she also enjoyed the fellowship shared with her beloved Bridge Club.

Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Glenn Ray Pierce and their children, Kim Pierce of Oakland, California and Mark Pierce (Ann) of Sedley. Also surviving is her twin sister, Susan Kennington (Johnny) of Como, North Carolina; and two grandsons, Austin Pierce (Courtney and their son, Bowen), and Wesley Pierce.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 26, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, North Carolina. Friends are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home immediately following the service.
