One of the hardest questions to answer is how does any community bridge the gap in the divide? What if the answer is simpler than we think? Allow me to explain. On Dec. 3, I watched people of all colors and backgrounds line the streets of Downtown Franklin simply to enjoy the annual Christmas parade. It was a beautiful thing to watch, as churches, politicians, believers, non-believers, adults, and children all came together in the same place to celebrate the holiday season as a community. This is what we need more of in the community and it’s up to all of us to work together to ensure that it happens.
