SUFFOLK – Thomas Edward Woodard Sr., 73, passed away Nov. 28, 2021 in his home. Born in Conway, North Carolina on March 9, 1948, he was a son of the late Roger and Mildred Martin Woodard.

Thomas was a log truck driver and a member of South Quay Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carolyn Barden Woodard; a daughter, Penny Caroline Powell and her husband Chris; a son, Thomas Edward Woodard Jr.; a sister, Elizabeth Cale; a brother, Ben Woodard and his wife, Nancy; and two grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Southampton Memorial Park with Pastor Richard Baird officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to South Quay Baptist Church.
