Students lead See You at the Pole event

The national See You at the Pole event included local participation from students, parents and church and community leaders earlier in September.
Students at schools all across America annually gather at their school’s flagpole on the third Wednesday in September to pray for their schools, friends, teachers, government and nation. See You at the Pole is student-initiated, student-organized and student-led.
Among those joining students at Southampton Middle School were the pastor from Kingdom Impact, several parents, police officers and Southampton County Sheriff Josh A. Wyche Sr.
Student Jenny Davis sang “God Bless America.”
