NEW BERN, North Carolina – Sonja A. Picot Everett of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Sept. 7, 2021. There will be a public viewing for the Southampton County native at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 1 to 6 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 in Diamond Grove Church Cemetery, 30466 Riverdale Drive, Franklin with Prophetess Freda Cross officiating.
