To the Editor:

Coming together on one accord is something that we need more of in the community. In order to bridge the gap, we all have to be willing to come together to fix the problems that have been around for far too long. The key is that change has to be made “together.” Moving forward we have to learn how to support each other as much as possible. It shouldn’t be about age, race, religion, politics or position in the community. It should be about being good people. Let’s learn to love each others differences, encourage each other through hard times, strengthen each other in time of need, promote each other, pray for success, and simply be kind to one another. What we do starting now determines which direction we go in with bridging the gap, but make sure that we strike while the iron is still hot. The success of the community is depending on us coming together.
