COURTLAND – Anna Rechner Hubbert, 82
Anna R. Hubbert
, passed away Aug. 7, 2021 in the Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Born in Germany on Oct. 4, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Ludwig and Anna Fuchs Rechner.
Anna was a long time hotel clerk at the Comfort Inn in Franklin and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mark Hubbert; two sisters, Cilli and Christle; a grandson, Braxton Hubbert (Natalie); a great-granddaughter, Avianna Hubbert; and a cousin, Haness.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 15 in St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Mullaney officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Catholic Church.
