The Town of Windsor Concert Series is making its return with events set for Aug. 6 and Sept. 3 at Robinson Park.
The series is resuming after being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Having the concert series restart provides an opportunity for the community to gather and enjoy time together,” Windsor Mayor Glyn T. Willis said. “The series has been enjoyable for those that participate.”
The Janitors will be playing from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Aug. 6 concert, and food will be provided by the Virginia Diner Food Truck.
On Sept. 3, The North Tower Band will be playing from 7 to 10 p.m., and Dula’s Fish on the Fly Food Truck will be providing the refreshments.
All the concerts are free and open to the public, and gates for each event will open at 6 p.m.
That is also the same time that the accompanying Cruise-In will start on both Aug. 6 and Sept. 3. The cruise-ins will be held at the adjacent Windsor Baptist Church and will feature prizes of $25 and $50.
Donations to Windsor Baptist Church will be welcomed.
Those interested in attending the concert series are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs.
