The Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Brewing Up Business event was hosted the morning of July 9 by Parker’s Peanuts, located in Courtland. A chamber release noted this business on Southampton Parkway, just a little west of Food Lion, offers a wide variety of products — peanuts, gifts and an awesome coffee bar featuring SOCO coffee. The chamber encouraged those in the community to stop in at the business and say hello, and the chamber thanked Parker’s Peanuts for hosting the July 9 event.
