BOYKINS – Palma Ann Disisto Haydu, 82, widow of William Paul Haydu Sr., passed away July 20, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Yonkers, New York on Dec. 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frank Disisto and Mary Graciano Disisto. She is also predeceased by a son, Carl Joseph Haydu; a sister, Rosemarie Merante and two brothers, Anthony and Vito Disisto.

Palma was a retired chemical operator for Hercules and a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Linda H. Baugham (Vernon) and Doreena H. Parson (Roger); two sons, William Paul “Billy” Haydu (Pam) and Mark Anthony Haydu (Dena); a sister, Linda Nania; seven grandchildren, Scott Hewett (Brandy), Luke Hewett (Katie), Adam Baugham, Jessica Haydu, Ashley Haydu, Marrissa Haydu and Joshua Haydu; two great-grandchildren, Cole Hewett and Breelyn Hewett; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24 in St. Jude’s Catholic Church with Father Charles Saglio officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 101 Clay Street, Franklin, VA 23851.
