The City of Franklin may have a new Starbucks on the way. On June 24, City Manager Amanda C. Jarratt stated, “We have received a site plan submittal for a Starbucks at the former National Glass location. We have not issued any building permits for that project at this time.” National Glass, which has been located at 1663 Armory Drive, is owned by Rick Martin and Cecil Martin, and Cecil Martin confirmed June 28 that the business will continue to operate and does not need that physical location to do so.
