FRANKLIN – Bobby Milton Vick, 84, passed away June 27, 2021 in East Pavilion. Born in Southampton County, he was a son of the late Clyde and Juanita “Nita” Barnes Vick and is also predeceased by a brother, James C. Vick.

Bobby was a 1954 graduate of Newsoms High School and a six year veteran of the National Guard. He was a quality control supervisor for Union Camp Corporation and the owner of Kilby’s Flower Shop. Bobby was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Margaret Stone Vick; a daughter, Vicky V. Baker (Tim); a son, Stephan Milton Vick (Teresa); a sister, Betty Vick Everett (Marvin); two grandchildren, Stone L. Baker and Hayden M. Vick; and a sister-in-law, Linda N. Vick.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Qualls and the Rev. James H. Hyatt Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church or the Virginia State Police Association.
