RALEIGH, North Carolina – Mrs. Roxie Mae Wynn Barnes passed away on June 14, 2021 in Wake Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. A public viewing will be in the chapel at William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home during the following times: noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 18. The wake will be held on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Move of God Ministries, 221 South Main Street, Franklin, VA.

A homegoing celebration will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 19 in Mars Hills Baptist Church, 20315 Carys Bridge Road, Capron, with the Rev. Elisha Barnes delivering the eulogy; Rev. Kenneth Hawthorne is pastor. Interment will be in Bryant Church Cemetery, Courtland. Masks are required for the viewing, the wake and the funeral. No repass has been planned.
