Students in grades pre-K-2nd were thrilled to have a visit from Sheriff Josh Wyche and his deputies, who took time out of their busy schedules to talk to the children about the responsibilities that come with their jobs. The deputies explained that they spend their days protecting the citizens of Southampton County, preventing crime and enforcing laws. The children asked many questions and were able to look inside their law enforcement vehicles. It was an exciting, informative experience for the students.
