Franklin High School celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week from May 3-7 with a variety of events. A delicious breakfast, consisting of Chick-fil-A biscuits and Panera Bread bakery
items, was provided for teachers on May 4. On May 5, teachers were treated to a scrumptious breakfast prepared by the high school cafeteria staff, which arrived extra early to prepare the meal. Teachers received lunch on behalf of high school administration May 6. The
delightful meal was prepared by Coach Cousins and the Culinary Arts Department.
Faculty could choose a Bistro chef’s salad, cold plate (chicken or tuna salad) or a
chicken bacon ranch wrap. Sides included potato or pasta salad, chips, cookie and
sweet or unsweet tea. Cake and ice cream were also provided by the
administration team during both lunch shifts. On May 7, a Zoom Teacher Appreciation Celebration was held in which teachers had a virtual dance contest. They also viewed a PowerPoint presentation that was created as a special tribute to all high school teachers.
