NARROWS, Va. – John L. “Jimmy” Phipps, passed away on March 5, 2021 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, with his wife by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Phipps; children, Eden Watson, Cody Watson, Blake Phipps, Alexis Phipps and Jessica Guest; brothers, John and Dale; a sister, Virginia Leigh and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at noon on March 20 at the VFW Post 4411, 3385 Beaverdam Road in Franklin. Chaplin Robert Harness and Pastor Joseph Poe will officiate.
