On Thursday morning, Western Tidewater and the Greater Hampton Roads region experienced its first major snowfall of 2021.
The National Weather Service in Wakefield reports that Southampton County got about 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 inches; 2.2 inches in Franklin; 1 to 1-1/2 in Isle of Wight County, and 2 inches in Suffolk.
There’s a 90 percent chance of more snow forecast for Sunday night, and chance of more on Tuesday.
