FRANKLIN – Mary Ann Hallman Faulcon of Delaware Road, Franklin, transitioned from her earthly life to receive her eternal rest and peace on Dec. 13, 2020, while in Sentara Obici Hospital.

She was born on May 7, 1960 to Elizabeth Hunter and Larry McCoy Boone in Nansemond County, which became the city of Suffolk.

Ann,” as she was called, attended the Suffolk City Public Schools. She was an active member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Suffolk, where she served on the Deaconess Ministry, member of the Mass Choir, Ministry of the Kitchen Board and the Women’s Choir.

Ann was preceded in death by her father, Larry Boone and stepfather, Crawford Whitehead.

Her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of her loving family: her husband, John Faulcon; daughters, LaTonya Boone Hunter (Charance) and LaVonya Boone Judge (Wilbert Jr.); her mother, Elizabeth Hunter; stepdaughters, Deborah Whitehead DeLoatch, Marguerite Whitehead Simmons and Wanda Dionne Whitehead Davis; one sister, Lorraine Ennis; two brothers, Bobby Ray Hunter (Leonita) and Deontae J. Hunter (Christine); five grandchildren, Deshenell, Jayla, Cyniah, Jaleya and Janay; stepgrandchildren, Tiffany DeLoatch Brooks (Jarrod), Daryl DeLoatch, Brittany Henry-Simmons (Kelly) and Justin Davis; step great-grandchild, Khyree Henry-Simmons; nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, Barbara Tanner and Audrey Ricks; many other relatives; and a very special friend, Gloria P. Hanna.

The service for Ann is private; however; the viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 18, from 2 to 7 p.m.
