U.S. Route 460 has re-opened following an accident earlier today, Nov. 23. A two-vehicle accident with injuries had caused the highway to be closed in both directions about a mile east of Ivor, according to Maj. Camden Cobb, spokesman for the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office.

He said the call came in about 12:27 p.m.
