FRANKLIN

On Nov. 8 at 2:37 a.m. Franklin police officers responded to the 600 block of Oak Street in response to a report of shots fired. They found one victim of a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the victim as Delvontae Boone, 28, of Franklin. The investigation is ongoing and additional information will be released as The Tidewater News learns details.

Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to call the FPD at 757-562-8575 or Franklin Crime Solvers at 757-562-8599. Information that leads to an arrest can earn the caller a cash reward while remaining anonymous.
