Many schools across the country are operating by the motto, “Together, we can do virtually anything,” and Nottoway Elementary School has embraced this in the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
On Oct. 15, the faculty taught the importance of safety and emergency preparedness in case of an earthquake by participating in the Great American Shake Out Drill.
Students were instructed to find shelter under a piece of furniture, such as a table or desk, and to hold on to its legs until told it was safe. The school commends all of the students who participated for their excellent work.
