To the Editor:

Why do we need a Republican slate elected in this general election? Who’s to blame for allowing our country to lurch toward socialism/communism? How can we have elected Congressmen and Senators representing our citizens who glorify and support the likes of Russia, Cuba and Venezuela, without any repercussions? We have met the enemy and it is us!

The vast majority of Americans work to take care of their families. Work, support kids’ activities, attend church, then repeat. It is very hard to be seriously involved with political issues at the local, much less state or national level. In effect we have abdicated our responsibilities as citizens!

For the last 20 or 30 years our preparatory education systems have failed to teach our children and young adults the history of our state and country, the benefits of a free market system, and what our country’s success as a democratic republic has contributed to the rest of the world. Liberal and socialist academics have dominated textbooks, schools and universities advocating the destruction of the greatest, most generous, nation known to modern man. Very few questioned them!

It is time to wake up! It is time to stop political correctness. It is time to stop always playing nice, while the other side stabs you in the back. Evil is not good. Good is not evil. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights detail our God-given rights. Everyone should be equal under the law. No More. No Less.

At this point in history only one party supports our Constitution. Please be Involved. Please vote.
