Vehicle hits pedestrian on Armory, College drives
FRANKLIN
A pedestrian who was reportedly struck by a driver at the intersection of Armory and College drives has been airlifted to a regional hospital. The incident took place at approximately 8:30 this morning, Aug. 28.
Virginia State Police are investigating the scene with assistance from Franklin Police.
A man who identified himself as the brother of the victim, said to The Tidewater News that he was told she was crossing the street to go to the Rite-Aid at one corner of the intersection when she was hit by the as-yet unidentified driver.
