Dakota Corbin of Franklin, a registered nursing student at Paul D. Camp Community College, received a $500 scholarship from the Uniform Retailers Association. The scholarship opportunity and award was announced through Scrubs Plus of Suffolk owner Dwane Sherrick, pictured with student, who is a member of the URA based in Cincinnati, Ohio. “We at Scrubs Plus were very pleased to provide this opportunity for the students and equally proud that two were awarded these scholarships,” said Sherrick.
