CAPRON — Emmitt G. Smith of Little Texas Road, Capron, passed away on July 26, 2020, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Viewing for the Southampton County native will be in the funeral home on Friday, July 31, from noon to 7 p.m.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. in Capron Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 1, with Pastor Sherin Flythe delivering the message.

A service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St.
