COURTLAND — Mary Helen Lynn Lewis, 92, widow of James Robert Lewis, passed away on July 8, 2020, at Accordius Health in Courtland.

Born in Staunton, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Callie Lynn. Mary was also predeceased by two sons, Albert Butler Jr. and Edward Butler; a daughter, Jo-Ann Lewis; and seven siblings, Marshall, Raymond, Lewis, James, Sonny, Nellie and Wilson.

Mary was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Catherine Ann Huddleston (Chris) and Audrey Faye Bradshaw (Wes); three sons, Robert Lewis (Dorothy), Jimmy Lewis (Donna) and Mark Edward Lewis; a sister, Linda Edwards; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Heidi Butler; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 13, in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Courtland Volunteer Fire Dept. or Courtland Rescue Squad.
