COURTLAND – Evelyn Gillette Musser, 71, passed away on June 17, 2020, in her home with Dana by her side.

Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Robert Turnbull “Tabb” Gillette and Gwendolyn Ridley Gillette.

Evelyn was a retired operating room supervisor for Southampton Memorial Hospital and a member of High Street United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Dana Lynn Musser; a daughter, Evelyn Drewry Bailey (Dave) of Charlotte, North Carolina; a son, John Herman Drewry IV of Norfolk; a stepdaughter, Heidi K. Gauss (Jeff) of East Grand Forks, Minnesota; two brothers, Dr. James Robert “Bob” Gillette (Suzanne) of Lexington, Kentucky, and Dr. Lynn G. Gillette of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan; four grandchildren, Ginna, Byron, Natalie, Garnett; and six step-grandchildren.
