Police request help on cases

FRANKLIN

Franklin City Police are asking for public input on some recent cases.

Sgt. Scott Halverson, department spokesman, said that on Monday the communications center got a call that an unconscious woman was dropped off at Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was then airlifted to VCU, where she passed away. The victim is a 27-year-old female from Franklin. At this point the cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy.

Halverson said the police are also investigating several shots fired calls that have occurred throughout the city from Sunday, May 10 through Wednesday, May 13.
