FRANKLIN — Bobby Lewis Wade, 88, passed away on March 25, 2020, in the East Pavilion.

Born in Lasker, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Willie Lewis Wade and Willie Gladys Smith Wade.

Bobby was a retired maintenance foreman for Union Camp Corporation, and a former National Guardsman.

He was a longtime member of the Bronco Rod and Gun Club and Franklin Baptist Church.

Bobby’s wife of 63 years, Barbara Staton Wade, passed away shortly after him on March 25, 2020.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Cynthia W. Barb (Mike) and Tina W. Martin (David); a brother, Donald E. Wade (Kaye); four grandchildren, Justin L. Barb, Heather L. Barb, Ashley M. Causey (Neil) and Wade A. Martin; and two great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Scarlett Causey.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, Bobby and Barbara will have a private service and burial.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church.
