BOYKINS — Patricia Ann McClenny Draper, 65, passed away on March 13, 2020, in Southampton Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

A lifelong resident of Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Redell McClenny Sr. and Johnnie Mae Bryant McClenny. Pat was also predeceased by her sister, Linda Kaye Carr.
She was the Town Clerk for the Town of Boykins, and enjoyed horseback riding and trail rides.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 31 years, Nelson Craig Draper; two sons, William “Bill” Hatch (Laura) and Tracy Hatch (Indu); two brothers, Oscar R. “Tom” McClenny Jr. (Lorrie) and John F. McClenny (Lisa); three grandchildren, Aiden and Olivia Hatch and Tracy Hatch Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
The visitation previously scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, has been postponed in keeping with the governor’s order to limit public gatherings.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Boykins Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
