The City of Franklin Police Department is investigating a crime involving the use of stolen credit card information.

Department spokesman Sgt. Scott Halverson stated that the card information was believed to be stolen by an ex-employee of Hardee’s at 105 N. Mechanic Street between mid-January to Feb 28 of this year.

“We believe that there may be victims who do not yet realize that there is an issue,” said Halverson. “If you used a debit/credit card at the above location, check your credit card/debit card statements for any unknown or suspicious transactions.

If you believe that you are a victim, please do not hesitate to contact the Franklin Police Department at 562-8575.
