FRANKLIN — Harvey Fenton “H.F.” Vick Jr., 75, passed way on Feb. 20, 2020, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Franklin and raised in Newsoms, he was a son of the late Harvey Fenton Vick Sr. and Sarah Drewry Vick Crowell. He was also predeceased by an infant son, Brian Keith Vick, and a brother, Otis Carson Vick.
He was a self-employed landscaper.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Shirley V. Vick; a daughter, Shari Lassiter (Ronnie) of Franklin; a son, Richie Vick (Melissa) of Smithfield; two sisters, Rita V. Rice (Bryan) and Juanita V. Harper (Blaney), both of Hopewell; two brothers, James Vick (Linda) and Larry Vick (Paula), both of Prince George; five grandchildren, Whitney Styron (Chance), Kendal Lassiter, Travis Lassiter (Amanda), Alyssa Vick and Sydney Vick; one great-grandchild, Ember Styron; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Vick of Prince George.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery off of Homestead Road.
The family will receive friends on from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
