WINDSOR — Mary Gertrude Dovenero Weeks, 84, passed away on Feb. 6, 2020, with her family by her side.

Born in New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Anthony Dovenero and Johanna Hollister Dovenero, and was also predeceased by a daughter, Rose Didden; a sister, Joan White; two brothers, Harry and Jack Bermes; and the father of her children, John G. Didden Sr.
Mary was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church and a Sunday school teacher.
Left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Kathy Olson (Gary), Joan Sparks (Tom), Cheryl Dawkins (Kevin) and Eileen Stugart (John); and three sons, John Gabariel Didden Jr., Bart Didden (Debbie) and James Didden; a sister, Dorothy Colditz; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, in St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Charles Saglio officiating. Burial will follow in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday in Wright Funeral Home. and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Jude Catholic Church, 1014 Clay St., Franklin, VA 23851.
