The ninth annual Child Abuse Prevention Golf Tournament, which is sponsored by the Joyner Gray Yale Ruritan Club and Southampton County’s Department of Social Services, will be on Saturday, April 4, in the Cypress Cove Country Club.

Registration and purchase of Mulligans will be at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Southampton County community through programs to support child abuse prevention. The registration deadline is ON Tuesday, April 1.

The cost to participate is $75 per player ($50 per player for high school students) or $300 for a four-player team. Hole sponsorships are also available for $100. Additional sponsorship opportunities are as follows:

• $25 – bronze level

• $50 – silver level

• $100 – gold level

• over $100 – platinum level

Complimentary barbecue plates prepared by Jerry Stivers will be served after the tournament. A rain date has been set for Saturday, April 11.
