FRANKLIN — Albert Joseph Bonner, 68, passed away on Jan. 25, 2020, in his home with family by his side.

Born in Norfolk, he was a son of the late Elzie Austin Bonner and Gertrude Mary Saunders Bonner.

He was a retired utilities inspector for the City of Norfolk.

Left to cherish his memory are his life partner of 33 years, Barbara Stallings; and his brother, Robert Austin Bonner.

The funeral will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, in Wright Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
