On Dec. 15, the Nottoway Elementary School Girls on the Run team participated in their second 5K at the Mariners’ Museum and Park located in Newport News. Girls on the Run is a program designed for grades three through eight. It seeks to inspire young women to celebrate the uniqueness within themselves, to be confident, to realize the importance of good health and physical fitness, and to serve the community.

Nottoway Elementary School is proud of these wonderful students who are part of this year’s Girls on the Run team and would like to congratulate them on a great run.
