SMITHFIELD
During its 20th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Banquet on Sunday in Smithfield, Community Harvest Outreach, its board of directors, partners and volunteers received the honor of distinction award from the Isle of Wight chapter of the NAACP for outstanding community service.
Presenting Laequinla and Ernest Hunter with the award is Valerie Cofer Butler, president of the Isle of Wight Chapter of the NAACP.
