FRANKLIN

On Monday at 10:43 p.m., Franklin Police officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Hunterdale Road in reference to a person being shot.

According to department spokesman Sgt. Scott Halverson, the victim, suffering a gunshot wound, was located outside of his home. He was airlifted to an area trauma hospital via air ambulance.

Investigation is continuing at this time.
