FRANKLIN — Mary Frances Campbell Best, 92, widow of Harry Lee Best, passed away on Dec. 18, 2019, in the East Pavilion.

Born in Marion, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Barney C. Campbell and Addie Perritte Brown; and was also predeceased by one sister, Barbara C. White; and four brothers, Alfred, Elwood, Bobby and Carlisle Campbell.

Mary Frances was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Yvonne B. Slye (Gerald), Mary Lee B. Garrett (Michael) and Cathy B. Jones (Roger); one sister, Betty C. Holland; nine grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Drew Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service, and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity or civic club.
