EMPORIA — Bobbie Jean Edwards, 44, of Emporia, Virginia, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, while in the care of Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center, Emporia.

T.L. Faison’s Funeral Care LLC, 301 Park St., Seaboard, North Carolina, has been entrusted with the arrangements, where Mrs. Edwards will lie in repose from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, in Rising Star Baptist Church, Branchville, Virginia, with Pastor Frank Lucas Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
